VOLUME XIII
Our Mission
To encourage and promote the empowerment of SVMP Alumni through information sharing, strategic relationship development and social activities.

Community Conversations

One of the greatest parts of the SVMP experience is undoubtedly the incredible people we experience our week at HBS with. Some of our most memorable conversations and experiences weren’t even centered on cases, but on the incredible things we were all involved in outside the program and the breadth of experiences we had between us. In the spirit of bringing some of that wealth of conversation to the forefront of the alumni network, we are now hosting Community Conversations, pieces from some of our own alumni speaking to the projects they’ve been involved in since leaving SVMP and what led them to those interests.

Anyone interested in adding their own voice to the conversation can submit pieces to alumnibeat@svmp.org.

“Markus Gaffney founded the 3 by 3 (3×3) project in 2011 to address the food deserts that exist in urban areas. For those who don’t know, food deserts are typically low-income areas that lack access to fresh fruits, vegetables, and farmers markets.
